The Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) preview for the week of June 2 hints Marlena Evans (Deirdre Hall) will suffer a heartbreaking loss, when John Black (Drake Hogestyn) passes away.
Also coming up, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will break devastating news. Plus, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) will open his eyes.
DOOL spoilers tease Marlena had been filled with hope that her beloved husband would survive. On Friday’s DOOL, John uttered the words “Doc.” But Marlena’s happiness will be short lived, when he dies in her arms.
DOOL Preview – Marlena Grieves For John, The Love Of Her Life
Meanwhile, after confirming to Marlena that John is gone, Kayla will head to Brady’s Pub. When Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) sees her tear-stained face, he’ll ask what’s wrong. “It’s John,” she tells him in the DOOL weekly preview. “He died last night.”
As for Marlena, she’ll return home and have an emotional discussion with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). “There’s never enough time, is there?” she’ll say to her son. Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) are also in the preview, struggling with the loss of their father.
Marlena will soon realize she needs to start learning how to do things on her own. However, it’ll be tough and Marlena will sit on her bed upstairs and weep, grieving for the love of her life.
Days Of Our Lives Preview – Bo’s Love For Fancy Face Has Never Changed
Finally, as Salem mourns John, there’ll also be some good news on the horizon. Bo will wake up and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will consider it a miracle.
“One thing that hasn’t changed, my love for you,” Bo will tell his Fancy Face. He’ll also marvel at how lucky they are to have such an amazing family. Then Ciara’s son, and Bo and Hope’s grandson, will walk in. “Hi Grandpa,” he’ll say.
